“My Super Psycho Sweet Sixteen” is surely an experiment by MTV deviating from its traditional shows. MTV which is widely popular youth channel, once was a music channel only, has embarked upon new projects like “My Super Psycho Sweet Sixteen”. MTV has diverged from the current trend of TV channels to work on reality shows. The studios are switching from scripted dramas and comedies to thrilling live dramas. But MTV’s venture in scripted movie was a little bit unexpected.
MTV will launch this movie “MY Super Psycho Sweet 16″ which is a horror and a consequence of its own reality show “My Super Sweet 16″. There are some other movies in the pipeline as well. “My Super Psycho Sweet 16″ was filmed in Atlanta in order to make less expensive movie due to different tax structures in that state. DiSanto , president of programming at MTV, said, “My Super Psycho Sweet 16 cost us less than two half-hour episodes of ‘The Hills’”.
The movie took six months to complete. My Super Psycho Sweet Sixteen revolves around the story of Madison Penrose who is a spoilt school girl. She uses the birthday party to win her former boyfriend Brig again who is passionately inclined towards Sky Rotter. Spoiled brat she is and so is her wishes, she convinces her parents to re-open “Rollerdome” for her 16th Birthday. Rollerdome was closed due to the series of brutal killing and after all this, obviously the psycho killer comes back to wreak havoc during her party. The horror movie comprises a lot of special effects.
