Finally Saturday Night Live is going to introduce two new female members to its cast in the coming season; Nasim Pedrad and Jenny Slate are going to be the luck one to be boarding as crew members. I have heard about the news from media ITE website, whereas the news really started from the blog The Comic’s Comic, this news that Nasim Pedrad and Jenny Slate are going to be the latest and newest crew members of “Saturday Night Live” was confirmed by an industry insider.

Lorne Michaels the creator of “Saturday Night Live” does not likes this kind of news’s to be leaked, hence NBC official spokeswomen declined to comment on the situation. Michaels likes to hold a tight lid during and after hiring cast, frequently holding off until just a few weeks before the show’s comeback to affirm both hires and departures. This is going to be the first complete and full season without ex-cast member Amy Poehler the regular at “Saturday Night Live”, she left the series in 2008 December.

As for the newest cast member of “SNL” Nasim Pedrad, she is well familiar to L.A audience for her frequent appearance with the Groundlings, UCB Theatre and Improv Olympics; Nasim Pedrad has also performed at the stage shoe “After School Special.”

Nasim Pedrad has also staged a one-woman show on “Me, Myself and Iran, and has had guest roles on primetime series such as “ER” and “Gilmore Girls.”

Saturday Night Live will premier its 35th season on 26th September.
