The Bend Company is going to share the responsibility of Santa Claus this Christmas. The Christmas tree will be erected in front of the U.S. Capitol building and the lighting of Nations Christmas Tree is the oldest tradition of Washington. The task of keeping the nation’s Christmas tree fresh for at least three weeks is taken by the Bend Company.
It is being practiced for years that People line up in frosty weather on a selected day to get the popular tickets to see the annual ceremony of National Christmas Tree Lighting on the Ellipse.
The National Park Service is going to host the National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony online and an online lottery is held on November, 4 to distribute tickets for the ceremony held in December, planned at 5 p.m. this lighting is worth- seeing and people wait for the ceremony through the whole year.
The White Mountains in Arizona’s Apache-Sit greaves National Forest will get an honor to present an 85-foot blue spruce that will be cut at the end of this week and start its 3-week journey for Washington, after few days.
The lottery will be release Nov. four – six for a chance to win the 9,800 tickets in which 2,800 tickets will be available for seats and 7,000 will be available for standing room. The standing room tickets are added this year.
