On the contrary, women despite all their liberty are guided by certain instincts which are more prone towards dealing things in a non-violent way. But the recent incident signals some masculine instincts even in women. The practical example of such masculinity can be seen in real life when we notice the recent incident in women soccer game.
The soccer player from New Mexico Elizabeth Lambert faced the disciplinary action when she was accused of fighting the rival team’s player. She has been suspended now. Elizabeth Lamberts is, by nature, a very confrontational and aggressive player. Last Thursday, her unbridled aggression compelled her to pull the hair of a girl and threw her down. She didn’t stop here and punched another girl two times while she was trying to have the control of the ball. One more girl received her elbow in her back. Quite surprisingly, there was no remarkable action against her during the match and no punitive action was taken for her misconduct.
It was then when the referee saw the video with his own eyes and suspended her from the team. She was accused of violence during the game and her suspension is for an indefinite period of time. But the candid remark of Elizabeth Lambert amazed everyone in the sense that she confessed misconduct and gave it a good justification of her “affluent emotions”. She said, “I let my emotions get the best of me in a heated situation”. But she apologized for what she did. The prospective and potential players have censured her act.
