The New York Doorman strike was a really tough lesson learnt by the New Yorkers this time round. The strike that went on to be in its twelfth day on the day of Wednesday was then on called off after an agreement by the both the contract parties which was finally signed on in the early times of the Wednesday morning.
Though’ the agreement between the parties were reached up at around midnight but the signing to the new 4 yr agreement took a period of 2 to 4 hrs more and then the New York Doorman strike was called off by the 32BJ.
According to the reports, the New York Doorman strike took around 12 days and approximately 30,000 strikers participated in achieving a goal that seems like real daunting at the time when on the New York Doorman strike started off, around 12 days back.
It was a really hard time for around a million of apartment owners in the New York City, to face such a strike in the first place. New York has not faced such a strike for nearly twelve years in a row now, and the current New York Doorman strike was not expected off to even embark on in the first place by the building owners.
The New York Doorman strike that took around 12 days to be fully negotiated between the 32BJ as well as the RAB, is as per the reports, closed down and an agreement has been reached between the parties, which is for another four years in a row.
