News 9 Oklahoma City reports confirm that the deaths of nine people in the Monday Disaster. The News 9 Oklahoma City area had produced more than six tornadoes and caused the massive destruction. The Tornadoes touched the Kansas border and might be possible that these thunderstorms might continue to develop. The warnings about the possible thunderstorms was been issued since last week. The officials will be deploying their teams to figure out the damages caused in the natural disaster. The meteorologist said that they the storm developed in mid afternoon and transformed into a tornado. The News 9 Oklahoma City updates included that the officials announced the residents to store water.
The water treatment plant at the area was damaged and hence the residents were asked to ration water. The Lake Stanley water treatment facility provides a major part of the treated water to the Oklahoma City and also includes some suburbs. The Oklahoma Gas and electricity corporation has issued the priority repair of the water treatment plant. The storm also hit the Norman and caused the similar damage to the water treatment plant. The people in Norman were also deprived of treated water. The residents in Norman would also be facing the lack of water and were also asked to store water. In the storm around 5 of the people have been reported yet and several injured. According to a report on Monday night 10 people who were severely injured were taken to hospital after they were in critical condition.
