Nikola Tesla was an inventor, electrical and mechanical engineer was born on 10th of July, 1856 in the village of Smiljan, Vojna Krajina in the territory of present Croatia. By birth, Nikola Tesla was a topic of the Austrian Empire and later became a Citizen of America. He described as a crucial inventor and scientist of the modern period and known as “a man who shed light over the face of Earth”. Nikola Tesla is most famous for his several radical contributions in the field of magnetism and electricity in late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The theoretical work and patents of Nikola Tesla are the basis of modern alternating present electric power (AC) systems which include the AC motor, the polyphase power distribution systems with which Nikola Tesla helped escort in the “Second Industrial Revolution”.
While working in America, Nikola Tesla was extensively appreciated as one of the utmost electrical engineers after being the victor in the “War of Currents” and after his exhibition of wireless communication (radio) in 1894. Most of his early work pioneered current electrical engineering and lots of his discoveries were of innovative significance.
In the United States, the fame of Nikola Tesla rivaled that of any other scientist or inventor in popular culture or history during this period, but because of his odd personality and his apparently unbelievable and sometimes strange claims about probable technological and scientific developments, so, he was eventually disliked and considered as a mad scientist. Never having put a great focus on his money, Nikola Tesla died impoverished on 7th January, 1943 at the age of 86.
