Nissan is a very renowned company providing vehicles to the people for the past decades and have made a name in the industry for its super class vehicles. Nissan is a part of the General motors and they have a great name in providing their customers with quality cars and after sales services. But unfortunately this time Nissan has to face a terrible time. It was unexpected failure on behalf of the company to maintain their years of reputation.
Nissan had to recall some 500,000 vehicles approx. because of some break and petrol gauges issue in the US. Over Five hundred and forty thousand vehicles were announced by the Japanese manufacture to be recalled.
Nissan recall vehicles including titan pick-up and other SUV’s. Nissan recall vehicles in which brake pedal pins were less tight and resulted in incidents and so far no serious accidents. Nissan recall their vehicles from the following countries US, Japan, Russian and Middle East. The drivers in the UK were not impacted by the issue of the faulty vehicles. The vehicles showed inappropriate fuel level in the fuel tank and the vehicles were left out of fuel while the gauge was showing a certain amount of fuel in it. Where as fourteen crashes and one injury was reported and now Nissan recall its Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 cars. The import of Japanese vehicles was banned by the US senator till the problem is resolved
As a result Toyota recalled some 8 million cars due to safety concerns and has to face a sales decrease of nine percent.
