Five men have been arrested earlier in the month under the accusation of Internet predators, Lahbib Hannoune, 30, Harlan Gene King, 26, Dominic J. Galliani, 44, Fayette County 26, and Nityanand Gopalika, 30, he is probably the first Indian to be involved in such case. Pennsylvanian state police arrested and identified Nityanand Gopalika as an Indian engineer living in U.S on work visa, he was also charged for soliciting underage girls for sex in several different chat rooms on internet.
According to Attorney general Pennsylvania Tom Corbett Nityanand Gopalika purposely used a chat room on internet to reach out to a 13-year old girl from Pittsburgh for sex, however the supposed girl was an undercover agent from Child predator unit.
According to criminal complaint filed against Nityanand Gopalika, he betrothed in a series of chats over a number of days inquiring the girl about her sexual experiences and unfolding the sex acts to the girl which he wishes to engage in with the girl. Nityanand Gopalika also sent two web cam videos to the girl, which shows him naked, he was arrested from Cranberry Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania where he was suppose to meet the girl on July 1st , the preliminary hearing is pending on 24th July.
Nityanand Gopalika is charged with one count of attempting unlawful contact with a minor, a first degree crime along with one count of criminal use of a computer, these are all third-degree crimes and are each punishable by 7 year in prison and $15,000 fines.
