The movie “fourth kind” has been released and the initial response of the public is a little bit disappointing. The movie is being shown at Loews Boston Common, Regal Fenway Stadium and suburban theaters. The movie with a slogan “true story” left everybody in dismay perhaps the “true story with real scenes” gave an excessive hype leading to unnecessary expectations of the viewers. But the movie may do well on the box office in the coming weeks.
The movie is blend of reality and fiction as it contained actual audio and visual testimonies. “Nome Alaska Disappearances” is much-awaited movie at the box office. The “fourth kind’ is a good effort of Olantunde Osunsanmi. The movie “fourth kind” includes real life scenes as well which have been taken form documentary having the actual scenes captured by video cameras. The producer has the assertion that the film has some scenes which no body have observed before.
The theme of the film is based upon the traditional concept of aliens’ visit to earth that jump down from a UFO and kidnap human beings and then take them to their world. The movie “Universal” comprised the same theme of abduction of humans by the aliens. The concept of human abduction is the result of actual happenings when human beings had been missing form Nome, Alaska.
The blend of fiction and reality contains the character of Milla who is a psychotherapist who investigates the reason why the abductees are narrating “alien-stories”. She tries to figure out whether it is due to some psychological disease or it is due to actual experience of aliens. An “owl” frightens every patient and is the common factor behind every person who is said to have alien-experience.
Some people call it as exaggeration or twisting of reality because many drunken people disappear near the coastal area of Alaska.
