Norma Mccorvey a main figure in the controversial court case Roe v. Wade of 1973 that legalized abortion was arrested at Notre Dame University yesterday morning during President Barak Obama’s speech at the University.
South Bend, Indiana President Barack Obama is obstructed during his abortion debate at Notre Dame University by 200 opponents of the legalized abortion practices. Leading them was Norma Mccorvey a main figure in 1973’s controversial court case in which abortion was legalized.
President Obama was invited by the University to award an honorary degree and to be the major speaker for the commencing flickers appeals and numerous days of protests, Norma McCorvey and four maybe five others were among those who got arrested but according to officials 40 people were arrested yesterday.
Norma McCorvey was in the favor of legalizing abortion and filed a petition in favor of abortion in 1973 turned Catholic in 1998 now opposes abortion. Norma McCorvey also wrote a book regarding abortion after turning to Catholic, the name of the book is “Won by Love” in the book she explains how she has been transformed the words said by Norma McCorvey once that she “lived and breathed” for the cause to change the law about abortion, has changed completely the opposite once she believed in.
The first voice heard by the students and public who gave President Obama a standing ovation was “Stop killing our children.”
Later Norma McCorvey and many others Protestants were being arrested by the police.
