And another microphone blunder made by an American Politician. This time it’s President Barack Obama made a comment about Kanye West last night before his interview with CNBC. Seems like our politicians need to learn one rule: Consider every microphone a ‘live’ microphone!
An audio has been leaked on Tuesday in which Barack Obama is having a chit-chat with the host just before he went on the camera on his interview with CNBC. President Obama was commenting about Kanye and his sudden interruption at MTV Video Music Awards. President Obama called him a Jackass in the audio unknowingly that the microphone was live. His comments have dragged him in the middle of the Kanye and Taylor controversy. Taylor Swift was awarded with Best music Video award on Sunday night during the MTV Award Show. Taylor received her award and just when the very happy and excited Taylor was about to make her acceptance speech, Kanye West appeared on the stage, took the microphone from her and said that it’s Beyonce who deserves this award, and left the stage leaving a baffled Taylor behind.
President Obama commented on the incident just before he was going to give an interview to CNBC, and said, ‘I thought that it was really inappropriate’. He then added, ‘He’s a jackass.’ The White House Spokesman refused to comment anything on president’s ‘off-the-record’ conversation.
