Obama visited Dover, the military outpost on Thursday night to pay tribute to the American soldiers who sacrificed their lives few days back. Obama made a very gentle and sincere attempt by visiting the base to honor the 18 Americans by visiting Dover. They were killed in Afghanistan earlier this week.
Mr. President who has given very serious attentions and showed his clear intentions to the war strategy to minimize the damages caused by political uncertainty and war going on against terror in Afghanistan and also for the people of United States.
Obama left the White house in a helicopter in the dark, he was greeted by the airlift wing commander and then he went to base chapel in a car which is just few minutes’ drive away. In a topcoat and suit, Obama reached to the place where the dead bodies of the brave army men reached to get the last military protocol to start the eternal journey. He also met the family members of the deceased.
Obama took part in all the formal activities to grace the killed soldiers with the other military high ups. He definitely felt the pain of having the soldiers sacrificed on the so called war. The October was the last month for the Government to windup the operations in Afghanistan but the situation is behaving differently as the pressure from all sides is getting stronger for the administration of Obama.
The eight years’ war in Afghanistan killed over 50 US troops, but it never looked in the past and never looks even near to achieving the objective. The game of killing people must stop, there must be some other way to get the things right. People killed from either side the ultimate lose goes for the Humans and the Humanity.
