It feels that Offutt Air Show is going to be a great outing for old, young and for kids too this year, usually, the heat in these days stay around 90’s but according to weather reports for Saturday and Sunday the heat is going be some were between 65 and 70, the timing for Offutt Air show will be from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M daily.
The performances for Saturday includes United States Blue Angels, a variety of United States Air Force aircraft, false dog fight and a performance by United Sates Golden Knights parachute team. Other than that decommissioned air craft’s by Air Force and Navy will be displayed for public viewing all day long.
The important thing to remember if you are planning for a family outing at the Offutt air show is that the security is going to be a little tight, do not take backpacks, tote bags and coolers with you at the show or leave them in your vehicles, whereas small purses, strollers, wagons, and small diaper bags are allowed but only after a hand-search at the gate.
Electronics are allowed but remember that large camera bags can be a problem for you and for security so leave then in your car too, if you plain you trip to the air field according to the details I have provided you above, I believe you will not face any problems.
Parking is not going to be any problem as base will be available for car parking through Bellevue Gate “off Galvin Road”, however, pets are not allowed at the show, the good news is that there is no admission fee.
