The biggest sporting event going on right now is the Winter Olympics. The games are being carried on in Canada. The great sports event began on twelfth of February. Sport stars from all around the world have gathered in Canada to take part in the auspicious event. The Canadians are feeling proud to host the games. Yesterday the fifteen hundred meter speed skating competition was conducted. Two American players were the favorites for the game. Ohno speed skater also took part in the race. He was very excited to take part in the event. The race was in its final stage Ohno speed skater was at fourth place just when the players in the second and third place collided with each other and Ohno speed skater cleared the track on second place and won the Silver medal. This is his sixth Olympic medal. Ohno speed skater was born twenty seven years ago. He stated that Vancouver is the place where he has skated for hours and hours daily in order to become a true athlete. He is now scheduled to take part in two more matches and can win more medals if he continues his good form. He has had great love for the sport since his childhood. His father supported him and encouraged him to take part in the sport. Today he has earned great success and he gives its credit to his father and everyone who supported him. He was supported by his fans present on the event and he was very happy on winning the medal.
