The Wednesday episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show aired an interview of a woman who had incredible courage and bravery. Oprah invited the chimp lady to her show and gave the viewers a chance to watch an interview of a gallant lady.
Charla Nash, a Connecticut lady, was attacked by a huge chimpanzee in February this year, was interviewed by Oprah Winfrey on her infamous talk show this Wednesday. Charla Nash was attacked by a chimpanzee named Travis. Travis was owned by her Employer and friend Sandra Herold. The chimpanzee slashed her lips and eyelids and ripped off her nose and hands in the attack. When Paramedics reached the scene they found Nash’s fingers speckled everywhere on the floor. According to the paramedics, it seemed as if her fingers have gone through a meat grinder. According to another report by ABC, the giant ape scratched her entire upper jaw and her nose was so badly ripped off that it was hanging with just a thread. She was immediately taken to the emergency room. Dr. Kevin Miller told the channel that he found chimp fur and chimp teeth in her jaw bone. The doctors had to remove her eyes because they were infected. And then Charla Nash unveiled her face. She told in her interview that she is now getting stronger as she has now realized that she has to live with the reality. ‘There are things that happen in life you can’t change,’ she tells in her interview. Charla Nash, 55, told that she had never revealed her face in public until she appeared in the show.
Charla Nash’s interview sent one message to everyone: One must have courage to stand up against the realities and move ahead.
That said, surprisingly Oprah’s Chimp Lady Episode didn’t get that many hits on the internet. The Oprah chimp lady video has had fewer hits than the video of the previous episode in which Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi were interviewed about their marriage.
