A Chicago bar, Original Mothers bar was supposed to involve in race discrimination for six black students of Washington University. The race discrimination scandal has forced the federal and state investigation agencies to take up the matter seriously. Students are also getting ready to sue the bar.
The incident took place quite a few days back, the senior class council made the arrangements and reserved the bar for around 200 seniors. They planned to have fun and entertainment well before time in the famous nightspot downtown named Original Mothers Bar.
FBI and other investigation agencies were approached by Regis Murayi, a student of the University and in the complaint, it was clearly mentioned that the bar administration denied the black people entry in the bar. Murayi also reached the US department of Justice, Human Rights Commission and the attorney general with the complaint.
Murayi told in the complaint that the manager told them not to enter the bar as they were violating the rules of the bar by wearing baggy jeans. He told that the white students were entering the bar with the baggy jeans. He further said that he changed his jeans with a white student and the administration allowed that white student entry to the bar.
He told the authorities that they were not stopped to enter the bar due to wearing baggy jeans but due to having black color. The race discrimination was clearly practiced by the bar administration.
Well, apparently Americans always pretended to be the discrimination Free State but the nature can’t be changed.
