Yesterday night the two hour faunally of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” was presented on ABC-TV channel in which “Packhouse 2000” gets its extreme make over. The “Packhouse 2000” was the dream of Bernard McFarland for his three sons Dominique, Courtney and Curtis. Bernard McFarland is a wonderful guy and even more remarkable father. He wanted to give something to their sons and other young guys for their after school activities. There were two major reason behind starting “PackHouse 2000” one reason is to give healthy environment to young guys and the second is to keep them away from street. McFarland started “PackHouse 2000” with this aim in mind he wanted to install this practice of reading in them.
The project was the gesture of Corri Love a young 22 old girl from inner city Indianapolis and her father’s construction company. Corri said that that the company has gone into a pond of possible builders eager to do house makeover assignment and was chosen to be on the show. She has been working with her father’s construction company form an early age.
The makeover house is known as “Packhouse 2000” originally launched by Bernard McFarland. He is the single parent of three young boys and he launched this project “Packhouse 2000” not only for his sons but for all his neighborhood to have some healthy activities, originally a reading program encouraging the young once towards reading. “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” not only built the house “Packhouse 2000” but also built a separate library right next to the house.
Corri said Bernard McFarland message for the kids is that reading books can take you anywhere in the world, she also said that she has been impressed by his neighborhood.
