As the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington filled up with eager spectators and the first round kicked off, no one could have expected the stunning outcome of the match between the two welterweights Manny and Joshua. Joshua Clottey, the big man from Ghana, was by far the largest competitor that Manny has ever come across and it might have upset his nerves a bit but it didn’t matter much in the Pacquiao fight as the smaller, more agile Manny landed punch after punch to the shocked Joshua who didn’t see it coming at all.
The Pacquiao fight ended with a unanimous victory for Pacquiao as all the judges voted in his favor giving him a healthy eleven point lead in the final results. Manny landed an astonishing two-hundred and forty-six punches to the man who’s defense was believed to be impenetrable as round after round he dominated and showed the power of speed of the power of brute force. As compared to Manny, Joshua only made contact on a hundred and eight punches and was left biting Manny’s dust as the seven title winner won all twelve rounds of the Pacquiao fight.
The next competitor to fight Manny will be either Floyd Mayweather or Shane Mosley on the first of May though Manny, being the ambitious boxer that he is, wants to fight Shane more than the other saying that he already knows Floyd’s style and it isn’t difficult to comprehend. In the Pacquiao fight Manny punched Joshua a total of one thousand two-hundred and thirty-one times making his punching stats three times greater than his opponent.
