In a statement released yesterday on 28th July, 2009 by Fox TV Network, the episode of Family Guy “Partial terms of Endearment” which is on abortion theme will not be aired due to censorship issues. Network said in their statement that due to censorship issues they will not be able to air the episode “Partial Terms of Endearment” however, they said that the network completely support the producers’ right to make and distribute the episode in whatever way they want.
Whereas, Seth McFarlane creator of “Family Guy” series taunted during the questioning at Comic-Con in San Diego on Saturday 25th Jul, 2009 by saying Fox TV Network has always supported and permitted us to produce, which scared the F**k out of us, but later in an e-mail elucidated his statement by saying that they fully support the decision of Fox Network and they are ready to take a crack for their controversial storied episode “Partial terms of Endearment”. McFarlane specified that the Family Guy episode will be included on season’s DVD.
If you ask me I have always liked and enjoyed the series and I am looking forward for this seasons’ DVD, I admit that the humor provided in the series is vulgar and no person under 18 is allowed to see the series but the problems of our society, administration and government have are very well described and pointed out in the series.
