Both environmental and heredity factors play vital role in deciding a career. The congruence of these natural instincts and external stimuli is usually results in strong aptitude towards certain course of action. Pat priest is the living example of the concept. Pat priest opened her eyes in Salt Lake City and then migrated to Utah when she was a young kid. Her mother was involved in entertainment work who usually had strong inclination towards theatre despite she was very active in politics as well but she couldn’t avoid her natural flair towards entertainment.
Her mother, Ivy Baker Priest became united states treasurer. Some old currency notes have her signatures as treasure. Pat started to take part in beauty contests. Pat came to know that she actually inherited in-born tendency for show business from her mother who was writer, director and producer of road shows for the Mormon church. Pat played roles in community theatre in California. She did many plays for some other theaters as well and then some TV commercials paved her way towards TV shows.
In 1964, She got an opportunity in TV show The Munsters when an actress left giving an opening to her. The TV show ended in 1966 but she received enormous learning exposure from the show. She worked with Elvis in Easy Come, Easy Go. Pat has not retired from show-biz yet and appears on TV. Although she played a variety of roles in life yet she is still remembered as a marvelous actress of The Munsters.
