As the company grew, it started advertising and bound a contract with Belgian cookies manufacturer to introduce the delicacy in American market.
Company was later acquired by Campbell Soup Co., and the founder was retired in 60s.The company went on to incorporate American Collection into its cookies list to strengthen its list of classical recipes. Pepperidge farm’s concept has resulted in the brand being in the world’s top 2% brands and the sales have touched the 1 Billion mark. The promising fact about the company is its regard for the values set by the founder. Pepperidge Farm strongly supports the campaign to eliminate breast cancer. The company has collected $50,000 and intends to increment the amount.
Pepperidge Farm brand literally touched space when its brand of crackers Goldfish accompanied space shuttle Discovery.
Pepperidge Farm founder Margaret Rudkin has also authored a cook book that was declared to be The New York Times Bestseller. It’s the only cookbook to have reached the mark.
