Charlie Weis, who has been dismissed from Notre Dame but is not going to burry the hatchets, has uttered defamatory disclosure about Pete Carroll. He blamed him of having illegal relationship with a graduate student. He furiously lashed at the media’s discriminatory attitude towards him. He highlighted the difference of media coverage between him and Pete Carroll. Pete Carroll who is USC Coach has denied the allegations of Notre Dame Coach Charlie Weis and regarded the comments of the dismissed coach as nothing but fabrication.
Weis expressed his utter dismay after he was fired By Notre Dame. He expressed his discomfort on the discriminatory conduct of the media towards him. He told that if he was living with a graduate student in South Bend rather than with his wife in Malibu, it will soon ripple on the national level making it a spicy breaking news and, on the other hand, if Pete Carroll is living with a graduate student in Malibu, no body paying any heed towards it. He told that he was highly disappointed with the media due to this difference. He asked why the same act is okay for one and not for the other. He felt sorry for swearing and begged apology for this nice act.
But the question remains whether Pete should be dealt in the same manner or not. People are of the view that if Pete is living with a graduate student outside his marriage, he will surely suffer because no parent will send his son to play in the team whose coach is an adulterer. On the other hand, Pete Carroll has denied the allegations and told that stories about him are totally baseless.
