Phish is an American musical band. The band was formed in 1983.It was formed by four member of the University of Vermont. They started their band career by some rock music and later introduced jazz and psychedelia. The band consists of Page McConnell, Mike Gordon, Jon Fishman and Trey Anastasio.
They started their appearance at the University of Vermont as students. They played in the basement of University of Vermont UVM. The band started selling their tickets though mail and would provide the facility to the general public to order their shows ticket via postal mail. All kinds of exclusive tickets were available. In 2002 they launched their website phish.com. It had the facility to book the tickets online prior to the show. They used to follow a rock music tradition.
The band had achieved a good reputation in the music industry. Phish fans trade their recordings on the internet which is illegal but is not a matter for the band as long as they get more famous. The phish performed on fifteenth march at the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. The phish preformed 2 songs namely No reply at all and Watcher of Skies. The Phish is going to play in a number of concerts throughout the United States this year. Their upcoming concert will be held in Revolution Hall in New York on the third of May 2010.Later they will be performing at the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia on the third of December at the Pearl Street Northampton.
