Pi is a mathematical term. Pi is written like this “π” when used in mathematics. Pi is actually the circles circumference to diameter. Every year a Pi day is celebrated 2 times a year. The pi day is celebrated on fourteenth March as well as Albert Einstein birthday. It is celebrated on fourteenth march because it is similar to the 1st three numbers of the formula.
The second pi day is celebrated on 22nd July. The second Pi day is celebrated as pi is considered approximately 22/7.Sometimes people also celebrate Pi seconds which if calculated mathematically occurs on 14 March (1:59am). Multiple Pi days are also celebrated due to the occurring approximation Pi such as on fourth march, twenty-sixth April, tenth November and 1st January. The scientists say that twenty-six April should be the official Pi day. The United States House of Representatives have declared March 14 as the official Pi day.
The SEO king Google is also celebrating the Pi day with quite a zeal. They have also celebrated Pi day on the fourteenth of March 2010. Google is famous for its daily changing logo and celebrating each event that occurs in the year through its website. This year Google had planned a Pi sketch of their logo. The Pi day was actually started by Larry Shaw. He started this event in 1988 at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. The Pi day has moreover become a Pie day and people are celebrating this day by eating pies. The Google logo for the Pi day will be seen worldwide on the fourteenth march.
