The Playstation network which has over thirty-eight million users connected to it worldwide has crashed and it has left many of the users in a state of dismay. They said that they have narrowed down the problem and they have their technicians working on it even as we read their comments.
The Playstation network is a global network that connects users to online stores from where they can download applications and the softwares. The Playstation network is also the base for some online games which involve people from around the world connecting to a common server to play against each other.
The time that the problem was first noticed was around four o’ clock in the afternoon PST on Sunday. The Sony company in America gave its recognition of the problem in the form of a blog and as a post on Twitter. The problem with the Playstation network is believed to be confined to the older models of the PS3 and not the newer slim models. The response from users worldwide was that of anger towards the company as many of them reverted to obscenities in expressing their frustration at the problem. The company headquarters in Tokyo, Japan are still unaware of the cause behind the glitch.
The company blog advises users to stay in touch with the updates that will be posted as soon as any new material comes up.
