Producers of the Sony Playstation 3 are coming under heavy fire as reports of Playstation network problems spread throughout the world from yesterday. At roughly four in the afternoon yesterday the Playstation 3 started to have problems with connecting to the PS3 network. The Playstation network problems have affected as many as thirty-eight millions users of the network since it crashed. The tensions mount amongst owners and producers as there are no new updates on when the issue will be resolved.
The American unit of the company Sony has declared that the problem has been narrowed down to a few possibilities and that their engineers and technicians are at work trying to resolve the issue that has left much of the PS3 world disconnected from its users. The Playstation network problems, it was confirmed, are only restricted to the older models of the PS3 and not the newer slim models. Whatever the case is the company needs to resolve it before it causes an even greater dent to the consoles reputation.
The Playstation network is used by the forty odd million users to download software’s directly from the network rather than having to go out to the stores to purchase them and then install them after coming home. Apart from that the network is used to connect players from all over the globe to each other in order to play multiplayer games which come in the form of strategy or first person shooters.
The advice from the company is that owners should stay tuned to the company’s blog for any further updates which will be made as soon as new information comes out.
