According to the polish news today the aircraft of the polish president crashed. The tragic accident was reported by the polish news when the president aircraft crashed right before it could land on the runway. The plane was carrying the president along with his superior officials. The pilot was having a difficulty to land the plane due to bad fog conditions. The pilot tried to land the aircraft four times and finally resulted in a crash.
The polish news broadcasted the news right after the crash at eleven in the morning. The plane was going to land at the military base in Smolensk. The plane was only a short distance away from the runway when this accident occurred. The aircraft in which the polish president was being transported was a Tu-154 jet aircraft. The official reporters of the polish news still don’t know the exact death toll. But the government officials reported that the plane was carrying around one hundred and ninety six people.
The wife of the polish president was also flying on the plane. After seeing the situation of the crash it’s quite hard to say if anyone has even survived the crash or not. The aircraft was torn into pieces after the crash.The plane was reported to be twenty six years old and was not in a good condition. Many of the country’s officials died in the crash which also included the president of the National Bank. The crash also included officials such as the civil rights commissioner.
