The Sony Playstation 3, better known as PS3, has been facing a problem with its network as of yesterday. The first appearance of the problem manifested around four o’ clock in the afternoon on Sunday and the American company unit of Sony gave out word that there wasn’t much to worry about as the engineers were already working on the solution. Though the Japanese headquarters of the company haven’t as yet declared what the cause behind the PS3 error was, they are telling users worldwide that the issue has been “narrowed down” and technicians are working to resolve the PS3 error even as we read their posts.
The company has issued this statement through its company blog and through a post on its Twitter channel. Many users all over the world are getting more and more impatient as the PS3 error is failing to abate. This is the longest time that the network has been down and so far the most widespread PS3 error ever. The Playstation network is used by as many as thirty-eight million people and it is used to access online stores from where they can download various softwares relating to the console.
As the anger mounts amongst users, they are letting the company get a piece of their mind, not refraining from perverseness in the course of things. This PS3 error is sure to dent the awesome reputation that the console has had so far. The PS3 error, it is said, is only affecting the older PS3 models and not the new ones which are the slimmer ones known as the “Slim”.
