Many a gamers are being brought to their feet, or rather to their fingertips in frustration to the new ‘glitch’ that has severed the Playstation 3 network grid. The grid connects more than thirty-eight million together and with the PS3 network down, the irritation amongst owners is only mounting by the hour. The problem of the PS3 network down started yesterday when the first reports started coming in around 4:00 p.m.
The American office of the company says that the issue is being worked on by their technical staff and engineers and that the root of the problem has been narrowed down significantly. With the PS3 network down the gamers are at a loss about what to do as some of them have fixed times in which they can connect to their friends on the other side of the world.
On the Twitter post that the company has released the comments are increasing and trust me, they aren’t comments of praise. The ‘crowd has gone wild’ and the brunt of force is going to hit Sony hard if they don’t resolve the problem soon. The PS3 network down problem has taken its toll on the older version of the console leaving the more recent slim version untouched. Is this a marketing strategy by the company to sell more Slim units or is it just a simple ‘glitch’ as the company puts it? We might not know till the problem is resolved.
For those of you suffering from withdrawal symptoms the company advises to keep a frequent watch on the company’s blog which will be updated as soon as there is more to tell the customer.
