Pumpkin is not only a fruit but in the history of England; it has become a tradition even pumpkins symbolize the fall of New England. Pumpkins have also become the hallmark of Halloween, and yearly celebration of October 31, a holiday, and above all, pumpkins and their seeds are used in different delicious recipes.
Pumpkin seeds have a lot of qualities and healthy benefits inthem. These are edible with small sized, flat shape, green color seeds. These seeds contain vitamins, proteins and zinc and above all these contains a very low amount of calories and no doubt, are popular and delicious snakes.
The recipe for pumpkin seed snakes or we can say for roasted pumpkin is very easy. What you need to use is just a medium size pumpkin, a bowl full of cold water, some butter, olive oil, salt and any flavor you like to taste and now you are ready for preparing roasted pumpkins.
FIRST of all put pumpkin seeds in a strainer to make your pumpkin clean.
TAKE some cold ware and wash pumpkin seeds thoroughly.
PICK the pulp and strings out.
TAKE salted water and boil seeds for 20 minutes.
PLACE seeds on a cookie sheet in layer form and allow these boiled seeds to dry properly.
MIX 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter and salt according to your taste or add a pinch of your favorite flavor
TAKE an oiled baking sheet and place the pumpkin seeds in a particular layer.
BAKE at 325° temperature till toasted, it will take at least 25 minutes to be ready.
ENJOY warm roasted pumpkin seeds from the oven or cool and stock in an airtight container.
