Quran Jones a student at California State University, Sacramento apparently beat another student to death with a baseball bat Wednesday afternoon. Nineteen year-old student, Quran Jones was shot by police officer after he attacked them with a knife. According to police report investigators are still working to conclude what urged Quran Jones’ eruption, in which he smacked a dormitory room mate before police arrival and afterward attacked the police officer.
Name of the victim who died of injuries is yet to be raveled by authorities. He has been taken to UC Davis Medical Center, Thursday morning and the other companion of Quran Jones, a 23-year-old student also appeared to admit to the hospital .He also use to live in the same dormitory.
Joe Green, Sgt. of the university police department said that Jones has under gone a surgery and now his condition is stable and out of danger .Police declared that once Quran Jones is released from the hospital, he will surely be halted and detained into the Jail of Sacramento County on suspicion of killing and attempted killing of a police officer.
University authority is trying to satisfy the students and their parents and made assure that campus is safe in any way. According to other university students, the victim was a nice guy. Nobody ever heard his argument or any clash with any other student or roommate. He always tried to help others specially his roommates. Quran jones is also declared a good guy and police is trying to find out the puzzle of disagreement between the two.
