The Radio City Music Hall is going to be seeing a series of events starting form the seventeenth day of this month. The hall has just released tickets for the farewell tour of the Riverdance event which will make its first performance on the seventeenth. The show of Riverdance has a long history of performances and has done more than ten thousand performances over the years. The director of the show will be John McColgan while it will be produced by the producer Moya Doherty.
The dance that will take place at the Radio City Music Hall combines a series of choreographed performances to give the audience a diverse and energetic experience and this will be the farewell tour for Riverdance which will also be celebrating its fifteenth anniversary. The dance is done in Irish style with the high jumps and kicks that creates an immense sense of energy. The tickets for the eight shows that will be taking place over a period of four days are available at the Ticketmaster site and will be sold at two prices of thirty-nine-fifty and then the more exclusive tickets for a hundred and twenty-nine dollars fifty.
The Riverdance performances have been done in over three hundred and fifty different venues around the world apart from the one that it will be doing at the Radio City Music Hall, and boast a viewing of as many as twenty-two million people across four out of the five continents of the world. The CD of the performance also won a Grammy Award while the show has been viewed on television by more than two billion people and the group has traveled a total distance of six hundred thousand miles over the years of their performances.
