Rahm Emanuel who is a fifty years old Politician used to be a Illinois Congressman after which he switched over to take his new place in the White House. This great politician has some dream to fulfill and one of those dreams is that he wants to run the third largest city in the United States of America. Rahm Emanuel will be running in the next elections of the year 2011 for the post of the mayor of the Chicago city. Recently the departure of Richard Daley from these elections has given some space to this politician who has some chances of winning this election now.
The announcement about the departure of Richard Daley was made in the press conference which was held at the City Hall in Chicago. Daley talked to the people for about five minutes and told them the reason of leaving the elections for the next year. There had been some terrible downfalls in the economy of the Chicago City as the mayor Richard Daley was not able to give time to his work. The wife of this man had been fighting the disease of cancer and these were the personnel issue that did not let him concentrate on his work. Rahm Emanuel has recently made some announcements to the people and he said that he would be the next Mayor of the Chicago city hopefully. He expressed that he was surprised at the departure of Daley in front of the media.
