Randy Quaid Arrest

Randy Quid arrest allegedly occurred after he and his wife tried to skip Californian hotel without paying their $10,000 bill according to authorities, actor Randy Quaid then took a ride from a West Texas lock up to withdraw the bail money from a bank.

Sheriff Danny Dominguez for Presidio County, Texas told the AP that, Randy Quaid and his wife Evi spent several hours in lock up before posting the bail money that was $40,000.

Sheriff said Quaid did not received any special care and was in detainment during the trip to bank from where he obtained bail money for him and his wife, Sheriff said he was in custody but not handcuffed.

Sheriff Danny Dominguez said “I like to help everybody out, it’s a small town.”

Authorities received charges against the couple, which were issued earlier in September by Santa Barbara, California Sheriff’s department; the allegations were defrauding a small hotel, report said that Randy Quaid and Evi had an unpaid bill of over $10,000 which is a felony according to the state law.

Warrants for Randy Quaid and Evi’s arrest were issued soon after detectives from sheriff’s department filed the case with DA.

A spokesperson for Santa Barbara County sheriff’s Department Drew Sugars told the reporters on Thursday that sheriff’s detectives have not spoken with Quaid, he also said currently department is not going to release further details.

Randy Quaid and Evi were arrested on Thursday afternoon by a deputy sheriff; both were spotted near a hotel in Marfa, West Texas.
