Rat Lungworm is a natural scrounger of rats in warm climates but by accident it infects human being and can be resulting in solemn infection even death. With the passage of time it came to know that someone has acquired a serious parasitic disease from eating raw vegetables. The patient infected by Rat Lungworm suffers from, stiff neck, fever, harsh headache, tingling feelings and perhaps vomiting. Occasionally the sickness increases to coma and once in a blue moon to death. Regularly, medical experts recommend that the victim of Rat Lungworm has accidentally swallowed a strike.
The Rat Lungworm is a nematode usually inhabiting heart of rats and the pulmonary vein (the vein that carries blood from the heart to the lungs). Mature worms are slim and fragile, which are attaining a length of only 1.5-2.5 centimeters as compared to males, females are larger. Young worms which naturally create problems in human being are minor about 2mm long.
The most reported cases of this parasite have occurred in Eastern Hemisphere and parasite found in warm climates. The cases have also been seen in Southeast Asia, Australia, islands in the Pacific and China. A very few reports came from South and Central America, Islands in the Caribbean and the Southern United States.
