Ray Allen’s Twitter account got hacked.
NBA star Ray Allen’s Twitter account got hacked and then reopened. Some jokester posted sexual messages through his Twitter account. The incident happened late Wednesday night.
Ray Allen used to interact on Twitter with account name sugarray20. Upon discovering that his Twitter account has been hacked, Ray Allen changed his account name from sugarray20 to sugarrayn20 and posted apology messages. Ray Allen was reasonably upset and hoped that people found it amusing. He also commented that he might change his account password or leave Twitter altogether.
It was the second prominent hacking incident on Twitter. Earlier this week, we heard of Iranian Cyber Army who hacked Twitter.
Twitter is a micro blogging website which is equally popular among celebrities as well as general public. Many celebrities are interacting through their Twitter accounts with their fans and followers. Such incidents can also tarnish the repute of this infamous micro blogging website.
