Starring Milla Jovovich as the main character of the movie, Resident Evil Apocalypse is a suspense thriller that has been made based on the theme of the game that Capcom unveiled by the name of Resident Evil in which the player has to go around a location shooting down Zombies.
Resident Evil Apocalypse is the second in the series of four movies which were made on the original theme. In Resident Evil Apocalypse, Alice (Jovovich) wakes up in a hospital without immediately knowing how or when she got there. Upon leaving the hospital she finds out that the city is in chaos due to a virus called the ‘T-Virus’ which has begun to infect people like wild fire. The Umbrella Corporation which is responsible for this virus puts massive gates around all the exits of the city to control the outflow of people and limit exits to only those who have not been infected by the virus.
After the situation gets out of hand the gates are sealed off completely and a project of the Umbrella Corporation called the ‘Nemesis’ is activated to deal with the personnel they hired to deal with the zombies at first. The S.T.A.R.S team which was initially recruited by Umbrella to destroy the zombies is now the target of they’re deadliest creation which is a monster much more vicious that the normal zombies.
The Umbrella Corp has planned to Nuke the city to keep the infection contained but offer Alice an extraction ride if she succeeds in retrieving the lead scientists daughter Angela who is believed to be in her school.
