Richard Hatch Arrested

Richard Hatch arrested again? Well of course he was arrested back in 2006 when he denied to pay his income tax dues from those one million dollars he won in TV reality show “Survivor”. The Federal Bureau of Prisons Tuesday has detained Richard Hatch, the Survivor winner, the charge against him is that he placed indecent phone calls the people, while Hatch reportedly said that he had got consent from the Federal Prisons Bureau to record interviews for “Today Show”, a program of NBC TV.

Hatch at present is under custody in Sheriff’s Office in Bourne at Barnstable Country. Cynthia Ribas, the attorney of Richard Hatch, said that she could not know that why her client was detained, in addition she said that they have talked and was very regret to say that she could not know the allegations against which Richard was arrested and jailed thereafter. Richard’s attorney said that she had not any response for incoming calls of the fans of Hatch about his custody, adding that she would try her level best to contact jail officials to have explanation of her clients’ detainment. Official publicist of Sheriff Roy Lyons said that they did not have any detail; they did what they were asked to do.

Kristin, sister of Hatch, said she received a call of one of the officials from Sheriff’s department a day before the show, the official insisted to get Richard Hatch on the phone but she informed him that Richard was bathing, on which, the official said to hand over the phone to Richard in the bathroom and she did so.

Richard Hatch was under house arrest for his previous case, spokesperson for Federal Bureau of Prisons, said there are several reasons to transfer a prisoner from home to jail.
