Came out that Rick Duncan real name is “Richard Strandlof” and he is an impostor. Richard Strandlof, 32 said that he was in Pentagon at the time of 9/11 attack and survived he said that he survived in Iraq when a bomb went off on a roadside killing his 4 fellow Marines. He also told people that he has a metal plate in his head and suffered brain trauma and post-traumatic stress.
Richard Strandlof revealed that everything he said was a lie and he has never been to Pentagon, he was not a Marine and he never even graduated from Naval Academy, he was a homeless and at the time of 9/11 attacks he was at San Jose, California “homeless shelter”.
Richard Strandlof spoke fervently and skillfully about homeless veterans and he knew well the details of the Department of Veterans Affairs. He even establish the Colorado Veterans Alliance, and the FBI is now investigating if his lies violated federal law and weather he stole money as a result.
A former Air Force lieutenant colonel, Hal Bidlack a Democratic candidate, knew Richard Strandlof as a gay Ex-Marine captain, and that he was at the Pentagon during 9/11 attack. Jared Polis an elected Congressman and Mark Udall, elected Senate also knew Richard Strandlof in the same fashion.
Nowadays Strandlof is in Colorado Springs jail for driving with a suspended license, he said he was suffering from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, when he establish the Colorado Veterans Alliance, he also said that he was not taking any medication or seeing a therapist at the times.
He said that he is sorry if he hurt anyone with his acts in the past, he also said that he is not a criminal. Richard Strandlof told the interviewer, “Basically I am a good person”.
