Massachusetts Republican, Charlie Baker, has picked Richard Tisei as his running mate for his election campaign for State Governor of 2010. The announcement has been made on Charlie Baker’s campaign page and his FaceBook page. An official press announcement is scheduled to be made at American Civic Center on 11 a.m. on Monday November, 23. The announcement will be made at Tisei’s hometown of Wakefield, according to the report of State House News.
A statement posted on Charlie Baker’s campaign website stated’ Richard Tisei has years of experience fighting for the taxpayers on Beacon Hill and I’m thrilled to have him on the team.’ A lot is being said about Charlie Baker’s choice of a homo-sexual. He commented on the issue and said that people do not really care about it anymore. Even Tisei said about his sexuality that it’s not really a ‘news flash’. But local news papers and political analysts are treating Baker’s bonding with Richard as they treat it as’flash news’.
