No doubt man is a social animal and it does not take him more than a second to become a real animal. It was not only shocking but a crime and a vicious sin. The “beast-human” was in its full form not only with brutality but with callousness. A Richmond High School student, 15-year-old young girl was gang raped by at least a dozen of young boys, while she was on her way back to home from her school’s homecoming dance.
The girl was seduced into a dark alley near school campus by drunken young boys. The incident occurred on Friday night soon after she left Richmond High School gymnasium after the homecoming dance. Young girl was waiting for her father near Doctors Medical Center to pick her up.
A school-mate invited the girl to join a group of drunken young boys; girl joined in and started drinking it was then when they attacked her. According to police report, one after another, at least 7 boys raped the girl for more than two hours others watched but no one tried to stop the vicious crime.
When police officers arrived there after mid-night, they found the girl, half-conscious, insensible, bowed down near a lunch table. According to different statements, the boys partied after the rape. Two of suspects had been detained for the incident and a third was being investigated.
Manuel Ortega a 19-year-old boy who dropped school back in 2007 to attend a vocational training program has been arrested by the Richmond Police, under the suspicion of rape and robbery. The girl is still in hospital and in serious condition.
Investigators said that almost 14 male, stood nearby and viewed the attack, but none of them called for police.
