Rick Reilly offers advice to Tiger Woods.
Rick Reilly has offered a seven-step advice to Tiger Woods for an image-rehab. In his most recent column, Rick Reilly addressed Tiger Woods and told him how he should clean his once-squeaky neat image. Rick Reilly advises Tiger to give an interview on Oprah’s couch and make an emotional apology to the viewers, his fans, and family.
As a second step in therapy, Reilly asks tiger to remain away from any type of public appearance for several months. He says he should skip some tournaments and then return later to start winning the matches again. Third step, in Reilly’s view, should be of ‘cleaning his house’ as he asks Tiger to fire his old employees and hire new ones to rebuild his image in front of his wife. He says that he should hire a new caddie and a new agent as well. Rick Reilly asks Tiger to ‘freeze’ all of his sponsors and should apologize to them as well.
Reilly further asks Tiger Woods to behave in well-mannered way. He says any further club-throwing and swearing incidents could bring irreparable losses to his image and his fans would lose trust in him.
Rick Reilly’s advices are reasonably considerable. Right now, Tiger should lend an ear to some sincere advices as he truly needs some efforts from his side to repair his ruined image. His apology statement is not enough and he should appear in more interviews to rebuild his fans trust and should take some strong, practical steps to prove his sincerity to his family.
