Rob Bironas, the placekicker of Tennessee Titans scored the 53 yard field goal with few second to left in the match against Houston on Monday. Finally Titans has something to cheer about as they lost first six games one after another. Rob Bironas played well and kept it cool to score the winning 53 yard field goal.
It was a nail biting match on Monday between Titans and Houston. Both the teams were playing equally well and the game was evenly balanced till the last 30 seconds of the game in which Rob managed to score and turned the match in Titans favor with the final score of 20-17.
Well, it is a tough season for Tennessee Titans as they lost their first six games in a row but they are still very much on the cards. The track record of the Titans shows that they can bounce back at any time.
The NFL fans surly haven’t forgotten the last season of the Titans when they won 11 games straight. Before this game they were in desperate need of a good game and Saturday’s game against Houston provided them with the opportunity to bounce back in the season.
Rob Bironas, James Robert Douglas was born on 29th January 1978 in Louisville, Kentucky. He started his college football career from Auburn University, he was very near to the Lou Groza award in 1998 when he scored 12 out of 16 field goals. He also played his college football for Georgia Southern.
His NFL career took a turn when back in 2002 Green Bay Packers signed him as a free agent.
