It has been officially announced by comedy Works that Robert Schimmel will perform at their Landmark Village on 6th and 7th of the November. Robert Schimmel who started with working as a staff writer for the hit series “In Living Color”, has made appearance in the world’s largest comedy festival titled ‘Juste Pour Rire’ (Just For Laughs).
Robert Schimmel’s appearance on HBO Young Comedians Special brought him into the lime light and then the artist started his own shows such as Big Apple and Robert Schimmel: Guilty as Charged.
Robert Schimmel is more than just a comedian. The guy who brings smile on everyone’s faces with his extremely good sense of humor has himself had a very tough life. He was diagnosed with a stage 3 Lymphoma in year 2000. Robert was given a test treatment and to which he responded remarkably well. Robert then wrote a book about his life journey. The book, titled “Cancer on $5 a Day (Chemo Not Included): How Humor Got Me Through the Toughest Journey of My Life”, was published by Da Capo Press in March 2008.
Robert has proved that the real humor comes from real life incidents and experiences. He is a critically acclaimed comedian who has won several awards and has made appearance in countless live as well as recorded TV shows.
