If you ask a Singh to Translate Rocket Singh and Singh is King, he will surly end up with almost the same meanings, but let me tell you,

Rocket Singh’s Story is entirely different from Singh is King because Singh is King didn’t had a story but Rocket Singh has a story based on a Salesman.

It is just like a Raam Kahani (Fairy Tale) of a salesman who wasn’t able to get good marks in studies, he dreams big and salesmanship did the trick for him to become Best salesman of the year.

Rocket Singh is basically a success story of a poor salesman, he wasn’t good in studies, he joined a company, the bosses were terrible, and he decided to start his own business, there he went and become a great salesman.

In real life, the character like Rocket Singh are easily available, they do have a poor education record, they do face difficult bosses, but starting up own business with 100 % success ration is an exception.

Well, the movie is well managed, no doubts, Ranbir did well to up dress the character and played his role very well, but the point is if Ranbir keeps on doing these kinds of Comic movies, he might develop his reputation as a comic hero, which can be a minus for such a talented actor like Ranbir.

If you have watched Ajab Preem Ki Ghazab Kahani, and then watch Rocket Singh, you will be feeling the same character with Singh getup in Rocket Singh, this perception might be wrong or people might not agree.
