Ronaldo Real Madrid Presentation

Ronaldo’s Real Madrid Presentation was attended by over 80,000 fans. Cristiano Ronaldo formally unveiled as a Real Madrid player on 6th July, 2009 Monday evening at team’s stadium. The Real Madrid fans has greeted Ronaldo with cheers, the FIFA World Cup player of the year has led his former club Manchester United to 3 straight EPL titles during 2007-2009. Cristiano Ronaldo also holds the record of 66 goals over last 3 EPL seasons “most of any player”.

The previous Manchester United player told the media that it was his childhood dream to play with Real Madrid “Spanish Giants”. However, the transfer did not come cheap; Real Madrid had paid a record sum of £80 million for the deal. This is the largest amount ever paid for a trade. The induction was attended by 80,000 real fans; such large gathering was last seen in 1984 when Diego Maradona signed for Napoli from Barcelona.

Cristiano Ronaldo told the fans inside the stadium that he is happy to be here, he also said this is utterly remarkable he was not expecting such a massive crowd appears.

After Ronaldo Real Madrid Presentation a press conference was held in which he told the media that Real Madrid football club is closest to his heart although he admitted that it was a struggle to leave England.
