Roshni Nadar is the daughter of Shive Nadar “founder of HCL” and is now moving towards “next generation” at the HLC Group. Roshni Nadar has taken over as the CEO and Executive Director of HCL Corporation. Roshni Nadar will keep continue to head the corporation which is the investment company with HCL Technologies and controlling stakes in HCL Infosysterms.
The post of CEO and the Executive Director was previously held by Shive Nadar. Roshni Nadar has taken over the new position from April. Shive Nadar told the journalists at the “SSN College of Engineering” on the environs of Chennai that Roshni Nadar will be responsible for Strategic Decision making at HCL Corporation being as an Executive Director and CEO.
HCL Corporation holds about forty four per cent shares in HCL Infosystems whose revenues for the period of year ended 2008 were Rs. 12,605 crore; and holds about fifty per cent shares in HCL Technologies whose recorded revenues for the same period were Rs. 7,640 crore. The Total promoter holdings of HCL Corporation including HCL Technologies and HCL Infosystens are amounted to 68 per cent and nearly about 54.5 per cent correspondingly.
According to Saurav Adhikari (Corporate Vice-President, Strategy, HCL Technologies Ltd), Ms Roshni Nadar is involved only in the investment company “HCL Corporation”; and not in either HCL Technologies or HCL Infosystems which both are being managed by a group of professionals.
Roshni Nadar did MBA in Social Enterprise Management and Strategy from “Kellogg Graduate School of Management”. Roshni also involved in Brand Building crosswise the HCL Group. She returned back from United States in last October and since then involved with “HCL Corporation” before taking over CEO and Executive Director.
