Roslyn Heights Shooting

ROSLYN HEIGHTS, New York—A man and a woman found dead inside a suburban home, Roslyn Heights shooting took place on Friday, when a man named Muhammad Shojaeifard open fire inside his own home killing his mother-in-law, the man then shot his wife and his 17-year-old daughter, shooting left Muhammad’s wife Halen Mohseni, 40-years-old in a critical condition, whereas his daughter Mandana Shojaeifard died later in the hospital.

Police found 49-year-old Muhammad Shojaeifard and his mother-in-law Batool Biraman a 66-year-old woman dead inside their Roslyn Heights home, whereas the wife and daughter of shooter were in critical condition. According to Nassau County Police, the couple was separated over 18 months ago and were about to get divorce, Halen Mohseni and her daughter were about to rent the home.

Neighbors told the police that an aggressive argument broke out on the front lawn of Shojaeifard’s home early Friday morning over a forthcoming move; police found a moving truck parked in front of the home. Muhammad Shojaeifard later came back home with a sports bag on his shoulder neighbors said, a shotgun was recovered by the police from the house.

Neighbors called 911 after hearing gunshots, police arrived at the scene nearly after 12: 30 P.M, wherthey found Muhammad Shojaeifard and his mother-in-law Batool Biraman dead inside the home, Mandana, was quickly taken to Withrop Hosptial, but did not survived the fatal wounds, her mother Mohseni is in serious but stable condition.
