The Russian company Russo-Baltique has found a very novel idea to commemorate their almost forgotten name in the car industry. They have introduced a new supercar on the 100th anniversary of the car. The Impression was their first car in the history of car production. But the most interesting thing about the car is that these cars will be produced quite in a very limited number e.g. “three per year”. The car will be sold for about 1.8 million dollars. Therefore this makes the Impression a very expensive car in the recent history of cars.
However, the manufacturers are with the firm justification for high price of the car. The car ‘s image as “the winners of Monte Carlo Rally” and the traditional value attached to it makes the car a sign of prestige and esteem and such non physical values make the price high. The car has the history of success and fame right from its inception in 1907 with one two-seater model and a special sports car. Both won awards in the Monte- Carlo Rally.
The car tempted Nicholas II of Russia which added glory to the car leading to enhanced production until he resigned in 1917. Now this car is meant for the exclusive use by a king who prefers exceptionality as well as outstanding performance. The car is great blend of hi-tech as well classical outlook. From outside, the car is ultra-modern but from inside one can find wooden environment. But certainly, the car does not lag behind any supercar as far as the performance is concerned.
